The RC Rally Team from Erechim remains in the lead of the Rio Grande do Sul Rally Championship in the RC4 category. However, after the Panambi stage, another duo has taken first place in the category. Carminatti and Marco Marini won the fifth stage of the season, held last Saturday, the 13th.
The driver celebrates the points he achieved in Panambi. “When we arrived, we said that it would be a difficult race, that we would have to be very careful. We felt that right away in the first special stage, when we had a flat tire and spun in the second special stage, but even so, I believe that the final result was very positive. We came here to score points and that’s what we achieved,” the driver emphasized.
The other duo of the team, Ricardo Oro and Luis Felipe Trentin, could not compete in this stage. Even so, they remain among the top three in the category. The two duos will compete in the final stretch of the competition, which has stages scheduled for Ipiranga do Sul in September and then, in October, in the city of Marcelino Ramos.
